Psychotherapy Services
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a collaborative process between a therapist and the individual seeking support. You might want to overcome challenges, develop life skills to navigate difficult situations, make healthier choices, change negative patterns of thinking that do not serve you or enhance your overall quality of life. Many people turn to therapy for assistance with issues that can be difficult to tackle on their own and often continue sessions for ongoing personal growth.
Couples Therapy
Couples counseling brings people who have an intimate relationship into the treatment process to work on issues and increase their connection. This can include family members, business partners, and couples, often focusing on the challenges within the relationship such as communicating more effectively, improving trust, and mutual respect for each other.
Family Therapy
Family counseling involves parents, siblings, and extended family members, such as aunts, uncles, and grandparents, in the therapeutic process. Internal Family Systems helps us understand how roles within our family of origin impact our current relationships. Every family system has its unique structure and communication patterns, influenced by factors like parenting styles, personalities, and other dynamics.
Trauma Treatment
Trauma treatment is an approach to engage people with histories of trauma, recognize the presence of trauma symptoms, and acknowledge the role that trauma has played in their lives. It is grounded in a thorough understanding of the neurological, biological, psychological, and social effects of trauma — its impact, interpersonal dynamic, and paths to recovery.
